China's social inventory of zinc ingots drops by 3,700 tons to 195,200 tons
2020-7-31

July 31(LTIT) –As of this Friday , the total inventory of zinc ingots in major cities in China was 195,200 tons, a decrease of 3,700 tons from last Friday (July 24) and a decrease of 2,400 from this Monday (July 27). Ton.

The decline in zinc ingot inventory was mainly concentrated in Shanghai and Tianjin. Inventories in Guangdong increased, while Jiangsu and Zhejiang also increased slightly. The arrival of domestic zinc ingots in Shanghai increased slightly, but there was still little inflow of imported zinc. Supported by rigid downstream demand purchases, inventories continued to decline, but the decline slowed down.

The excessively high zinc price in Guangdong inhibits downstream demand, and the proportion of direct delivery from smelters to terminals has decreased, so the market arrivals have increased.

Due to railway transportation problems in Tianjin, the arrival of goods was affected, and inventory was mainly digested this week.

Overall, the original inventories in Shanghai, Guangdong, and Tianjin dropped by 3,600 tons, and inventories in seven locations across the country recorded a decline of 3,700 tons.
